About the Course

Project provides ITSSAR* accredited training in all types of lift truck from electric pedestrian trucks through to counterbalance trucks, reach trucks, order pickers and telescopic handlers of all sizes.

The courses are tailored to suit both novices and experienced operators and include classroom and practical sessions covering legislation and general safety and practical sessions covering risks, assessing loads and manoeuvring skills.

Trainees are assessed with written and practical tests during the course. (*Independent Training Scheme & Register).

The course objective is to give trainees full instruction and practical skills needed to safely and efficiently operate a forklift truck or telescopic handler.

Courses can be taken at Project training facility at Bulwer Avenue or on-site by arrangement.

Course Duration

Novices & experienced operators: dependent upon skill levels, but is general between 1 and 3 days duration for between 2 and 3 trainees.

Re-certification: normally a 1 day course for up to 3 trainees.

Certification

A certificate of attendance is issued on successful completion of the course.
