Project Hire and Sale was established in 1992 by present director Bill Crawford and Martyn Guilbert. In 2002 after 10 years of continual growth, Project joined the NP Group of companies and became the hire arm and specialist tool and plant hire division of the group that includes leading builders merchant, Norman Piette, Annandale Ltd, KdeP Glass and lifestyle store Quayside in Guernsey and also Blanchard Building Supplies Ltd in Alderney.
Project are a general trades and DIY hire centre and also specialize in areas such as Powered Access equipment (MEWP's) , Site Accomodation, and have recently ventured in to the hire of self-erecting cranes. Project are, of course, happy to sell plant and equipment too! Project always have a good display of access products and small builders plant, and are distributors for many well known brands, Belle, Wacker, Refina, Lyte, Pramac and Husqvarna (Partner). Project also supply Training for Construction & Industry, Powered Access training, PASMA Access Tower, Lorry Mounted Cranes, Forklift, Construction Plant, Safety Awareness and more. Project also stock just about the widest range of safety clothing, PPE (personal protection equipment), safety footwear and high visibility clothing to be found in the Channel Islands, all very competitively priced and available to help you do that job safely. You will also find a wide selection of hand tools, traffic management products (signs and cones), tarpaulins, blades, steels and consumables for every piece of hire equipment. Project has a fully equiped work shop and well trained technicians to look after your own builders plant and equipment; and are warranty repair agents for many brands such as WackerNeuson, Ammann-Yanmar, AUSA, Belle, Refina and many more. Our NEW Showroom and Drive-In Warehouse, are managed efficiently so that customers can collect equipment quickly, minimising unproductive time. To ensure our equipment is well maintained and safe to use, Project have always operated under the HAE (Hire Association Europe) procedures. In 2005, Project gained the prestigious SAFE-HIRE Certification. This was awarded again each year since. SAFE-HIRE is only awarded following a stringent audit of service, health & safety procedures and record keeping. In 2005 Project also gained the Investors in People accreditation and again in 2007/2011.
